These visas enable parents to migrate to Australia to join their children who are living in Australia permanently. This visa is for you if you have a child or step-child who is a settled Australian citizen, settled permanent resident or settled eligible New Zealand citizen and at least 50% of your children are permanent residents in Australia or you have more children in Australia than any other country.

Visit Australia on holiday, sightseeing, social or recreational, visit relatives, friends or short term non-work related purposes. There are various visitor visas available for people to visit Australia as a tourist.

Working holiday and work and holiday programs allow young people (aged 18 – 30) to have an extended holiday supplemented by short term employment. Countries participating in this program and eligible passport holders are: Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.

Partners and fiancés of Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens may apply to enter and/or remain permanently in Australia. Partners and fiancés include people intending to get married (fiancés), married (de jure) partners or de facto partners (including same sex relationships).

These visas are designed for international students who wish to further their education by participating in formal study or vocational training in Australia.
